Coffee, Cake, ‘n’ Craft – Copper Foil Suncatchers in New Romney, Kent

X

Description

This hands-on stained glass workshop introduces you to the Tiffany-style copper foil technique through the creation of a finished glass suncatcher. You will learn the core processes involved in working with coloured glass, from shaping and assembling pieces to soldering them into a completed design that is ready to hang and enjoy. During the session, you will be guided through cutting and shaping glass, applying copper foil, and soldering your design together safely and confidently. You will have full creative freedom to design your own suncatcher, choosing from a range of coloured glass and working with shapes that suit your style, whether simple and flowing, geometric, or more abstract. The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience of glass work. With an open-format structure and small group sizes, you can work at a comfortable pace while receiving individual guidance when needed. Held as part of our Coffee, Cake, ’n’ Craft series, the session offers a relaxed and sociable environment where you can focus on learning new skills and enjoying the making process. All tools and materials are provided.
