Description
Come along and enjoy a fun day learning the art of traditional stained glass techniques. A fun and relaxed class where you will learn all about traditional copper foil techniques as well as a discussion about leading. Learn how to cut glass, grind, copper foil and solder to make your own small stained glass panel or sun catcher to take home with you. In this session, you will learn to use the tools and the basics which you can then expand on in our glass club or further classes including using lead itself. Choose from a selection of design templates (or your own design!) and coloured glass to make a beautiful sun catcher or a traditional foiled glass panel. Workshop classes are fun, relaxed and of course we have cake. All workshop classes are for complete beginners or for those with some experience and would like to brush up on their skills. Stained glass is a craft that needs practice, so this session will be the start of your journey when you learn the basics! You can continue on one of our courses or at glass club which happens every week. 2026 Dates 15th February 10.00-3.00pm 9th May 10.00-3.00pm
