Maker's bio

Bill's Workshop is a bespoke blacksmithing and woodwork company dedicated to providing a unique outlook on the creation of products. After a apprenticeship in blacksmithing and now with years of experience we have started offing courses to ignite the creativity in others and share our skills to bring the unique craft to others. All our courses take place at Pathhill Outdoors which has been a huge part of my life as I am also a bushcraft and outdoor instructor. This fantastic venue offers 'The Woodland Forge' an off grid traditional blacksmiths workshop set in stunning woodland. A wonderful place to escape and spend a day learning new skills.

"We brought the garden sculpture course for my husband and son’s birthday. I was struggling to find a date that they were both able to attend, Bill went out of his way to add an additional date. My Son (27) and husband (69) loved every minute of their day. Bill was an excellent host who not only taught them new skills, he was also a great host who made them feel very welcome. Communication before the day was great too from what to wear/bring with to the night before messaging with a heads up about the local road works. They and myself are delighted with the garden sculptures (poppies and mushrooms) they brought home with them. I would highly recommend this workshop. Thank you Bill for making their day so special "
