"Had a great evening learning about woodcarving with Clunie. We used lime wood and Clunie demonstrated the use of curved gouges and flat chisels to make different kinds of rounded and triangular shapes, which can then be combined. There were five of us in the group, all beginners, and we all benefitted from group demonstrations and individual advice and support. Participants ranged in age from school age to retirees. Clunie provided health and safety information before the course began and advised of local timber providers and suitable reading material for further exploration of the craft. An interesting and informative evening in a friendly environment at a central London location."
