"I came with a friend to introduction to woodcarving course and we had a great time. Everything was explained clearly and we got a chance to try a purple of techniques. We all left with a mini piece of art! Clunie is really lovely, patient, supportive. Not only will I recommend this workshop to all my friends but I intend to attend more as it has given me a taste for what could become a great hobby. Thank you Clunie."
"Amazing course! Get to learn all the basics in 2 hours. Clunie is a wonderful teacher - attentive and engaging and her enthusiasm for carving is infectious. Will be coming back for more!"
"Had a great evening learning about woodcarving with Clunie. We used lime wood and Clunie demonstrated the use of curved gouges and flat chisels to make different kinds of rounded and triangular shapes, which can then be combined.
There were five of us in the group, all beginners, and we all benefitted from group demonstrations and individual advice and support. Participants ranged in age from school age to retirees. Clunie provided health and safety information before the course began and advised of local timber providers and suitable reading material for further exploration of the craft. An interesting and informative evening in a friendly environment at a central London location."
"Introduction to woodcarving was a very enjoyable, super fun taster session. Clunie is very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything well and it's a small group, so everyone got individual attention and help. I would definitely go back for another session or a longer course! Thank you Clunie!"
Clunie Fretton responded:
