London Sculpture Workshop (LSW) is a not for profit CIC and artist led maker space, founded in 2012 by graduates from The Royal College of Art (RCA) and The Slade School of Fine Art as an open access sculpture workshop with a short course programme. LSW was founded to meet the need for accessible, inclusive, affordable, high-quality facilities for anyone who wants to make in 3D.
"Had a great couple of days on this course. Learned so much and now feel confident that I can cast in plaster and concrete at home and in the pottery studio. Excellent tutor; incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. And an inspiring environment to be in. Really hope to do more courses and workshops with you."
"Visor was not checked by tutor thus light temporarily blinded me. I left the course coz of shock. No phone number to make contact. What health and safety aspects were in place? "
London Sculpture Workshop CIC responded:
"Thank you for your feedback, Mike. We’ve looked into the incident and can confirm the helmet was brand-new, fully checked, and all settings (including grinding mode) were demonstrated during the safety briefing. As you felt shocked, we immediately provided you with another visor to reassure you. We’re truly sorry the experience unsettled you, and we do everything we can to support learners to feel safe and confident in our workshops."
"Participated in the beginner welding course and throughly enjoyed it. Learned a lot during the quick introduction, then got right to having fun with the equipment. Would highly recommend "
London Sculpture Workshop CIC responded:

Many thanks
